Bringing Heaven Into You: Belief, Love, and Living the Kingdom Now

"Your Kingdom Come, Your Will be Done... On Earth as it is in Heaven..."

Justin and Dr. Don discuss the importance of a Heaven-centered mindset in daily life, emphasizing Jesus’ message that the Kingdom of God is within and “at hand,” and that believers can experience Heaven’s realities on Earth. They describe biblical layers of “heavens” and connect the Lord’s Prayer (“on Earth as it is in Heaven”) to living out God’s will now through Christ. They say Jesus’ ministry—healing the sick, forgiving sins, freeing the oppressed, reveals what Heaven is like and models what believers should carry forward as ambassadors who put the King first, deny self, and walk as Jesus walked. They stress renewing the mind, overcoming doubt and unbelief, and rooting faith in love, noting “God is love” and that love, prayer, and surrendered trust can replace depression, anxiety, bitterness, and other “hell” experiences with peace and contentment.

Episode 56 – Bringing Heaven Into You

Justin: [00:00:00] Hi, everyone. This is Justin Olbrantz And this is Don Schaefer And you are listening to The Wise and the Wandering podcast. For those who know the way and for those who are led astray. And if you feel like you fall into either of those categories, then you're in the right place. So let's dive in

Justin: So Don, what are we going to talk about today?

Don: Well, I believe we're gonna talk about bringing Heaven into you, Justin.

Justin: Bringing Heaven into you.

Don: That's right.

Justin: Okay, so the concept here is I don't have Heaven, right, right now, right? And I need to bring it into me. Is that what you're saying?

Don: Yes. We gotta have an understanding, 'cause I know, um,, uh, I believe Jesus Christ came to with that message- Mm-hmm

Don: that the Kingdom of God is within us.

Justin: Yeah.

Don: And, uh, we even pray the [00:01:00] Our Father, you know, "Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven." Mm-hmm. So I believe there's a lot of stuff that God has put together in Heaven- Yeah ... that He wants to place into our lives- Mm-hmm ... but we have to believe in Jesus Christ, and we have to use that avenue to bring it down into our lives.

Justin: Mm-hmm. Yeah, that's so accurate, because I think sometimes even just using the word Heaven is kind of a gray word too, right?

Don: Yeah.

Justin: And, and when you read the Bible, you start to see that there's different, almost like there's different layers to this. Like, Paul talks about being brought up to the third Heaven, right?

Don: Yeah.

Justin: He says, "I know a man," and he's kinda speaking odd there. He's speaking about himself. He says, "I know a man, in his body or not, I do not know," right? Doesn't know if he was in his body or out of his body when this happened- Right ... but he was, was taken up to the third Heaven in this throne room, right? In the- Yep

Justin: in the presence. And that's just a depiction of that there's [00:02:00] multiple Heavens. Mm-hmm. The reason I say that is because you look into the- The, , original Hebrew culture, and they considered the first heaven to be like what we consider the air almost. It's everything that was around them. Everything that's happening was heaven.

Don: Yeah, yeah.

Justin: And the second heaven was essentially what's in the sky, and what we might consider what, you know, where the birds are flying around and stuff. Yeah. That's the second heaven- Yeah ... where we're we're making treks in our airplanes nowadays, right? That's

Don: right.

Justin: And then the third heaven was beyond that, where the,, presence of God is, right?

Justin: The throne room. Yeah, yeah. Where, where Jesus is seated at the right hand of God, right?

Don: That's, that is right.

Justin: So it says even when you read, like, the original text, like when Jesus is talking about the, , , Lord's Prayer, he says, "Our Father, who art," and it says, "in the heavens." Mm-hmm. Like, we know that as , who's in heaven.

Justin: It's actually talking about in the heavens.

Don: Yeah.

Justin: And he, he's saying that to show them that it's not some far distant place.

Don: Mm-hmm.

Justin: [00:03:00] It's very near to you.

Don: Right.

Justin: Right? Yeah. And that's why when Jesus is explaining the kingdom of heaven, he said, "The kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of God, has come unto you."

Justin: Right. Right? Because now that I'm here... It's not that we're waiting for the kingdom just to be fulfilled, like, like Jesus has gotta finish his work, right, so that the kingdom can come. He's saying, "No, now that I'm here- Right ... you know that the kingdom of heaven has come to you."

Don: That's so true. And I know, like, he mentioned as far as being close, he says, "The Kingdom of God is at hand."

Justin: Mm-hmm.

Don: So it's almost like something you can reach out and get. And I do believe that, , Jesus wants us a little bit heavenly-minded- Mm-hmm ... in thinking of these terms. Yeah. Because I know, uh, it says in Ecclesiastes that He set eternity in our hearts. Mm-hmm. So we long to live something forever, but we think it's here on Earth, but actually, it's another kingdom.

Don: It's another realm, and we can have a part of it on Earth. I know the Bible talks about having an earnest of our inheritance here on Earth, [00:04:00] so we can have all, much of this stuff, and that's where, like, death- And, uh, you know, and dying and all this stuff, and the grave, there is no threat of that anymore- Mm-hmm

Don: because we're actually in the kingdom. Mm-hmm. We're actually brought, have brought heaven down into our life, and we get heavenly-minded. We think about heavenly, good things all the time, so we realize that our time here on Earth is such a temporary thing. Mm-hmm. But when the main event is in front of us, you know, this is something I think that as we live our life, we long for.

Don: Yeah. We long for to be with our, our Lord and our Savior. We wanna have a relationship with Him. Mm-hmm. And Jesus came down to show us a way and an avenue to do that. Yeah. And that's the beauty of life right now for the person that really understands what Jesus came to do, but it is a foreign concept for so many people because they live in their own personal hell here on Earth without even realizing that heaven can come [00:05:00] down and be brought in.

Justin: And then you wonder, like, well, what does heaven consist of, right? What really is heaven? If Jesus is saying the Kingdom of Heaven, the Kingdom of God, right, these are kind of synonymous, has come onto you, is near you, and it's there because He's there in front of you, right? He's there to usher in the Kingdom of God, right?

Justin: Yeah, yeah. And, what, what does that look like? Well, it looks a lot like Jesus, right, what He's doing. I mean, His ministry is fulfilling what is on, what is in heaven, right? Right, yeah. He says He's come down from heaven, right? And What He's doing is by showing what He's doing in His ministry, by healing the sick, by forgiving sins-

Don: Yeah

Justin: by freeing the oppressed- Yeah ... He's showing you what Heaven is. You know, He's showing you that there's no sickness in Heaven. Yeah. There's no disease in Heaven. That's

Don: right.

Justin: That everyone is whole in Heaven. He's showing you that there's no bondage. That's good. No one is suffering in Heaven, right? Mm-hmm.

Justin: That's right. And He's showing you directly by His actions and His ministry, and how He's- Yeah ... setting these people [00:06:00] free. It is a glimpse of what to expect. Yeah. But it's not something that we should look forward to later. It's something that we should do here, right? 'Cause if you go and you look in 1 John 4:17, right, it says that as Jesus is in Heaven, so are you in this world.

Justin: Yeah.

Don: Whoa.

Justin: As He is in Heaven- That's good ... so are you right now in this world. And I think that when it comes down to that, right, our focus needs to be, like you said, heavenly mindset, heavenly. Our focus needs to be on Heaven. But what that really means is our focus needs to be on Christ. Yeah. It needs to be on Jesus.

Justin: Yeah. It needs to not be on ourself. Mm-hmm. Because if our focus is on the kingdom of Heaven, then the King is always first. Everything we do puts Him always first. The King, right? Right. The kingdom of Heaven. Yeah. He's the king in that, right? Yeah. Yeah. And we need to always put the King first. The King comes first, right?

Justin: It is the will of the King. We are called as servants. We are called as ambassadors of the King, right, to do His work. That is

Don: right.

Justin: And [00:07:00] when it comes to that, we have to understand that when you give your life to Christ, you are one with Him.

Don: Mm-hmm.

Justin: It's not the other way around, right? I feel like sometimes we want- God to just do all the things that we want in our own lives, and we want Him to meet all of our needs- Yes

Justin: and provide for us, when it's kinda really the opposite. You know, Jesus says even to His disciples at the time, He says, "If anyone wants to be my follower, then they need to deny themselves, pick up their cross, and follow me," right? That's right. So it can't be about yourself anymore. Uh, the focus has to be about Him.

Justin: Mm-hmm. And if the focus is about Him, then you'll always have a heavenly focus, a heavenly mindset, right? That's true. So we have to look at the things that He was essentially telling His followers to do- Mm-hmm ... and we have to follow that because uh, uh, like it says in the scripture, as Jesus is in Heaven, right?

Justin: Yeah. Well, we know, where is He right [00:08:00] now? He's, He's seated at the right hand of God, right? Yeah. And as He is, so are we in this world. Mm-hmm. When we believe, when we made that confession, when we were saved, we become one with Him. Yeah. That's why it says He's the first of many brethren. He's the first of all- He is

Justin: of our brothers. He

Don: is.

Justin: The first of all- Yeah ... the brothers ever born, right? Yeah. So what that means is now-

Don: Firstborn ...

Justin: we are equal in God's eyes. The price has been paid. We are equal in His eyes. The only thing is, is we don't act like Him, right? No. So there's a character change that needs to happen. Yeah.

Justin: And that Kingdom of Heaven, following that mindset, is going to be what's needed to produce that character change in you.

Don: That's for sure. You know, and that's where, um- Many people live in a, in a darkened state right now, Justin. Mm-hmm. 'Cause I know in John 10:10 it says, "A thief cometh, , , to steal and to kill and destroy."

Don: So what happens there many times is all the chaos, all the issues and stuff we go through, we create our own hell here. [00:09:00] We ha- we're living in hell right now-

Justin: Yeah ...

Don: i- if we allow this to happen, and that's where Jesus came to set us free and open up the doors. He came to share a brand-new life, and that was the good news or the Gospel at that time.

Don: Jesus talked about a new place. He talked about something that they could have here on Earth- Mm-hmm ... and what ... It changed everything. I mean, the world. I look at, you know, the amount of people that came to hear Jesus talk this message- Mm-hmm ... because He was talking a whole new message. Because there's so much time in this world, even today, we live in a doom and gloom, depression, whatever the situations might be.

Justin: Yeah.

Don: Yeah, we do. We don't realize the opportunity we have right now. Mm-hmm. God has given us much. That's where everybody is breathing a breath right now. There's opportunity- Mm-hmm ... to have the Kingdom, to have Heaven a p- be a part of our life, to change everything around, where all of a sudden, you know, like Paul would say, "I've learned to be content in all, no matter what state I'm in."

Don: Yeah, yeah. "No matter what the situation is, I've got a piece of [00:10:00] Heaven inside of my heart." Mm-hmm. "I can handle it. I can sing songs when things don't go right." Mm-hmm. "I can look at the good of situations because I realize who is in charge of everything, and I realize that God is going to take care of it."

Don: Mm-hmm. God ... You know, 'cause nothing can separate us from the love of God- Yeah ... no matter what the circumstance might be. This is a beautiful message, Justin- Mm-hmm ... as far as getting the Kingdom and bringing Heaven into our lives, and it is a matter of changing your mind. 'Cause I know Paul even talks a little bit about the fact that we need to have a, a renewed mind, a mind that's changed.

Don: Yeah. We have to be able to think differently. Yeah. He talks about offering ourselves up as a sacrifice- Mm-hmm ... not being conformed to what the world thinks, because this doom and gloom and this whatever, they're trying to hang on to every little inch of life that life can give them because they don't think there's anything beyond all this.

Justin: Yeah.

Don: Where we come to a place where God gives us a new way of thinking and allows the things of God and Heaven to be a part of our life right now. Good- What a [00:11:00] beautiful life

Justin: Definitely. And a lot of the times, the way that comes from, , the way that new thinking comes is when we start to believe. Yeah.

Justin: The more closer you grow to God, the more He will build up your faith. Your faith doesn't start built up. It starts by the love. You know, it says in the Bible that where love is, that's where faith grows, right? But the love has to be there first. That's why a lot of the times, the way people try to, like, approach non-believers and try to condemn them, or even the way they try to preach to them comes off wrong because it's not coming from a place of love.

Justin: Yeah. So therefore, the faith is, in the unbeliever does not grow. But we- Mm ... as ambassadors of the kingdom are supposed to be believers, in a sense that the way that we believe turns the unbelievers away from their unbelief. Because when you think about it, from the very beginning, uh, , since Jesus' ministry, since His time here on Earth, He [00:12:00] was teaching His followers to be believers.

Justin: He said, "Where you go, where you believe, these signs will follow. When you go there and believe, and you plant a seed, whatever, these signs will follow you." Yeah. "They'll come after you. They'll be there." There's a faith that is being grown. There's a harvest that is possibly waiting that's, , that's coming.

Justin: But it takes planting seeds, it takes watering. There's a process to that. But the very core of that message was you need to be believers. You need to believe without any doubt. And what that means is that if you do not believe, if you're in unbelief, you're technically s- It, it's a sin. It's a sin. I hate to say it that way, but if you think about it from , the original, from the beginning, from the Genesis, right?

Justin: From beginning, God said, "This is the way." He instructed them and commanded them to walk a certain way, to live a certain way. If you lived anything less than that, if you went outside of that, it was sin, right? There was no [00:13:00] reason to sin. They got duped into it. But anything less than that was sin, because it's not proper.

Justin: It's not righteous. It's not the way of God, right? Then Jesus comes and manifests in the world, right? Yeah. And, uh, as a person, and He's commanding His followers, He's commanding His people to do things a certain way. Mm-hmm. He's telling them to believe, right? So what does that tell you? Anything less than that way- Yeah

Justin: 'cause He called Himself the way, right? The way. He is the way. Anything less than that-

Don: That's true ...

Justin: is sin, right? Yeah. And He came to wash away our sin, to take away the sin. And, and with those sins, you can think of, you know, right away when people think of sin, you know, it's an ugly word. You think of all these things that He forgave you for, and one of those things is unbelief.

Justin: Mm-hmm. So we need to get to a point where if we wanna bring Heaven into us, we have to be in belief. That's right. 'Cause Jesus says, you know, "If you say to this mountain, 'Move,' it'll move. You can say anything- Yeah ... it'll be done for you," if you truly [00:14:00] believe, right? That's right. So we have to get back to the core of that because- because we can say all these things about Jesus. We can talk about Jesus, we can make our own doctrines, we can meet at churches- Mm ... and we can learn as much as we want about Jesus. But it says that as, as He is in Heaven, so are we in this world. Yeah. The only way that we can be in this world as He is in Heaven is not if we know enough about Him and talk about Him, it's when we walk like He walks, as it says in 1 John, right?

Justin: Uh-huh, uh-huh. As, as He walks in the light, we walk in the light as He does, right? Mm-hmm. So , we are to walk in what He paid for, and if we live in unbelief, we are living outside of the Kingdom of Heaven because- Truly believing is where heaven comes down to Earth. This is why He's even telling His disciples about the Lord's Prayer, and He's saying, "On Earth as it is in heaven."

Justin: Yeah. Right? Yeah. He's telling them, "This is the way I want you to pray. I want you to bring it down. I want you to bring it down [00:15:00] here into you- Mm-hmm ... as I'm doing for you here." Yeah. "Because I'm not gonna be with you for very much longer, right?" Yeah. "And I need you to get this now." Yeah. "Because when I go away, I'm gonna be gone.

Justin: So I need to know now that you believe. I need to know now that you have faith- Yeah ... so this can carry on, 'cause I'm gonna send one like me, and he's gonna instruct you, but you're not gonna have me for much longer."

Don: That's right. That's a good message there, Justin. Yeah, 'cause Jesus did come for that reason.

Don: He said, "I am the light of the world." Mm-hmm. And, uh, His message was, like you say, a loving message. He didn't come to condemn. He, He come to expose a better life- Mm-hmm ... a better way of living, a better way of thinking. And I do believe, like you're saying, that doubt is probably our biggest enemy. And so much in life, it's interesting 'cause Jesus says, "Come to me as a child," and we talk about that a lot.

Don: But, you know, our children are very believing. They trust their parents. They'll do- Yes, they are ... they'll do anything i- uh, that a parent will ask them to do. But yet, as they get older, all of a sudden they get around [00:16:00] things, and start, people start to change their mind. They see things in a different way, and all of a sudden they start doubting.

Don: And this is the area I think a lot of people get themselves into. And when we really get into a place where the Kingdom of God is working in our life, where we got ourselves rooted in some of this stuff, we start to bear fruits. And it is love, and it's all the fruits of love, the kindness, the gentleness, the long-suffering, all the things the Bible talks about.

Don: And also, we, we turn on a light. You know, uh, Jesus is the light of the world, but we become that light. Mm-hmm. And the Bible talks that we need to let our light shine amongst this world. Mm-hmm. So what we're actually doing, we become a billboard for the Kingdom of God. And it's interesting how we manage to ha- harness energy in the natural sense, and we have light bulbs.

Don: You know, without that electricity, nothing works. And even AI right now, it's electricity, electricity. It's power, it's power. But actually, you know, they went around and they talked about a different type of [00:17:00] power. Mm-hmm. You know, how God and Jesus Christ, in a relationship with Him, He gives us a different power- Mm-hmm

Don: a different source that lights a different type of light. Yeah. And people see that light. Mm-hmm. It's your actions. It's the smile on your face. It's your gentleness. It's how you handle people. And I know the Bible talks about love, uh, covering a multitude of sins. Yeah. And I, I always look at that as when you can share your love with someone, you actually bring the Kingdom to that person- Mm-hmm

Don: and it covers a multitude of wrongs. It, it allows God an opportunity at that one person's life. And I know prayer, sometimes I, I say That I, you know, I'd love to meet the person that prayed for me at one day. Mm-hmm. Because I believe that, you know, God could change everybody right now and make everything perfect, but He doesn't do that.

Don: He's got a process, and part of that is prayer. Part of us, part of that is enough for us. Like, He, He, you know, they wanted to know how to pray, and He talked about praying the Kingdom- Right ... down on Earth as it is in Heaven. But [00:18:00] there's also praying for the individuals, you know, h- loving individuals enough to pray that God would enter into their life.

Don: Mm-hmm. It's... We fail sometimes to realize the power of our prayers and, and what it does in the Heavenlies.

Justin: Yeah.

Don: What it puts into operation as soon as we voice something for our friends, family, whomever it might be.

Justin: Mm-hmm. Yeah, 'cause a lot of that is what's in the hearts, right? Even when you go to pray for that, even before you even speak it out of you, it's like that intention, what comes out is so powerful.

Justin: Mm-hmm. That's why it's so important to get the heart right, to get the spirit right. It is. Because otherwise, it's not gonna be seen as love. You know, I told you about that verse earlier in 1 John 4:17 where it says, "As Jesus is in Heaven, so are you in this world."

Don: Yeah.

Justin: You know the verse before that, 1 John 4:16 says, "God is love."

Don: God is love.

Justin: So it says, "God is love," and then it says, "As Jesus is in Heaven, so are you in this world." Yeah. So what are you in this world?

Don: I know.

Justin: You're [00:19:00] love. Yeah. 'Cause that's what God is, love. Yeah. Right? So we have to convey that. We have to understand that, where that is the root of our faith, is God is love.

Don: Mm-hmm.

Justin: And the reason we know this is not just because it says it in the Book, and the reason they wrote it in the Book is because they experienced it. Yeah. And you know how they knew that God was love? Because He sent His Son.

Don: Amen. Right.

Justin: You don't send your son to die for, to save the world. That is a true act- Yeah

Justin: of love. Yeah. If you know that the only way that a large number of people or a whole world full of people can be saved- Mm-hmm ... is by you sending the only son that you have to get crucified- There is really, that's an unfathomable amount- Yeah ... of love.

Don: It is. It really is. And,

Justin: and that's truly who God is, and that's truly what we need to represent.

Justin: If you say that you are going to give your life to Jesus, right? When I say I'm gonna give my life to him, [00:20:00] it means that I'm going to allow him to be revealed through me.

Don: Mm.

Justin: Instead of me being seen by people, they're gonna see him instead.

Don: Yeah.

Justin: That's what it really means when you say, "He is the Lord of my life."

Justin: That's right. He is directing. He's the director. He's the one who is leading the way. Mm-hmm. He's the one who's instructing you. Yeah. It can't be about you anymore, right? Because if it's about you, a lot of the times we don't love like God loves. Mm-hmm. We couldn't love like God loves, and the reason that He came to begin with is because we couldn't love like He loves.

Justin: Yeah. He had to show us the way. Perfect love. But now we have an example. Yes, we do. And we're called to follow that example. And if you think we're not, then you're not reading what Jesus is saying. Mm-hmm. Jesus is saying, "Love your enemies."

Don: Yeah.

Justin: He's saying, "Pray for your enemies." Yeah. Like, how many times do you do that?

Justin: How many times... Do you know how effective it would actually be if you loved your enemies and prayed for your enemies? I don't. That's a hard thing to do until you realize love. Yeah. And the only way you're gonna realize love is if you become in a [00:21:00] relationship with the one who is love. Mm-hmm. Because that's what we were from the beginning.

Justin: Before we got corrupted, before we were deceived- Yeah ... we had a perfect love, right? Yeah. And, and that's what wins. Love wins. Yeah. So we have to get close to the source of love. Mm-hmm. And by getting close, we will develop a relationship, and that means we will relate to Him, meaning we will become the love that He is.

Justin: That's right. And people will see that in us, and that truly what it, that's truly what it means to be the light of the world.

Don: Oh, yeah. That, that's such a beautiful thing. And that's where I know, like, you know, the, everything you're saying here right now- , it's like, it's like a gospel message. Mm-hmm.

Don: You know, and the gospel means good news, and I believe that's what Jesus had. Mm-hmm. You know, He had, He had a message saying that the doors are, Heaven are open. You know, it's open for business right now, and it's up to us to reach out for it. And I know this is a battle. It really is. Mm-hmm. I mean, we go through a lot of struggle because we have an adversary that is trying to disrupt everything [00:22:00] that God is wanting to make good- Mm-hmm

Don: as far as our life and everything. And we fail to realize sometimes just how valuable every one of our lives are- Mm-hmm ... in the eyes of God. Yeah. How He planned us from the very beginning. He knows the exact moment we're living right now, and He's wanting us to have the best that He has to give us. You know, and that's where...

Don: Bible says, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered the hearts of man the things that God has prepared for those that love Him." Yeah. So I think about Heaven, and I think about all the riches, and, you know, all the beauty. Anything I could even think of, it's greater than that, Justin. Mm-hmm.

Don: You know, God has got something beautiful for us. We just have to win this battle- Mm-hmm ... with, and the battle's us. Yeah. You know, it's, it's our belief system. It's the doubt that keeps us from things, and not trusting in God- Mm-hmm ... and being able to surrender to Him.

Justin: Yes.

Don: I know as Christians, we raise our hands.

Don: You know, this is a symbol of surrender- Yeah ... unto our Savior.

Justin: Yeah.

Don: Because I realize that I cannot, I cannot [00:23:00] become good enough, that God has to do the work for me. Mm-hmm. Doesn't matter what it is. As far as even my doubt, even in the, in the Bi- Bible where it talked a- talked about that father with that son.

Don: He says, "Pray for my doubt." Mm-hmm. "Help me with my doubt." Yep. You know? 'Cause how am I gonna get rid of this sort of thing? And that's where, like, our prayer for you and, and for all of us, we need to realize just what Jesus came to do, and we have to get , to the point where we trust in His message- Mm-hmm

Don: and everything He has. It's all we got. It's all we got, Justin.

Justin: It is all we have. Yeah. And we can see through His work what He was doing, is what He was doing was the Kingdom of Heaven was the work that Jesus was accomplishing and teaching His disciples before He went to the cross. Yeah. Before He was plotted against.

Justin: He was translating what was in Heaven down here on Earth.

Don: Yeah,

Justin: yeah. He was showing them the Kingdom of Heaven, right? Yeah. And not, not only that, He was teaching them to do the same thing. He was having 12, which grew to 72- Yeah ... which came [00:24:00] back down to 12, but He was showing them that, "Not only is this me doing this- Mm-hmm

Justin: but this kingdom is for all of those who believe." Yeah. Not specific teachers, not specific just fivefold, not just religious people. That's right. This is for fishermen.

Don: Yeah.

Justin: This is for tax collectors. Yeah. This is for the ones who are hated on and persecuted on right now- Mm-hmm ... before they're stepping out for my name, right?

Don: Yeah,

Justin: yeah. But I'm here to work through the ordinary people and show them that this is a kingdom for anyone who will believe in it. That's true. Right? So we truly have to think that way. We have to have that perspective because if we don't, then our, our theology is off, right? Yeah. It's, it's all about ourself.

Justin: It's all about our own personal, experiences and stuff like that. Even when it comes to healing and stuff, right? Yeah. Like, I understand, like I've had- a mother who passed away from cancer. I know people who have died horrific ways. But [00:25:00] when I go and pray for somebody, I'm gonna make sure that it's not about my personal experiences.

Justin: It's about Jesus- Amen ... and His ministry and His work and what He was doing, which is rooted in the truth, right? Yeah. He said, "I've come to do the will of the one who sent me." Yeah. He said, "If you've seen me, you've seen the Father." He said, "I and the Father are one." You know, it, it's like how many ways does He have to show you that He is one with the Father, right?

Justin: Yeah. So when it comes to healing is what I'm saying is I can't let that stuff cloud my judgment. Because if I go and I think, "Well, God only heals some people. He doesn't heal everybody." You know, there's a certain list of people who are acceptable to heal, even though Jesus was healing every single person that came into contact with Him.

Justin: Yeah. Never turned anybody away.

Don: No, He

Justin: didn't. Right? I mean, He even got a little discouraged after the lepers, after only one of them turned back, right?

Don: Yeah.

Justin: But He said He still healed them all. And the thing is, is that's the way Jesus did. And if He did the perfect will of God, the one [00:26:00] who sent Him, then we know what the will of the Father is, right?

Justin: So I can't think that only... I can't let my personal experiences dictate the truth. Yeah. I can't let my feelings dictate the truth. I have to be rooted in the truth. Because if I go to pray for somebody, and I don't know what list they're on because th- those are my beliefs, I don't know what list you're on of people of who gets healed or not, so therefore, I don't know how to pray for you.

Justin: I don't know what's gonna happen. Yeah. So I'm really just putting hope into it. Yeah. It's not real faith. Faith has to be rooted in truth. Mm-hmm. And faith has to come from love. That's true. And the reason that He heals people, and the reason that He forgives your sins, and the reason that He sent His Son to die for you is because He's love.

Don: Amen. Amen. That's good, Justin. And I, I myself, , believe that God has by design placed a special spot in each one of us for Heaven, and He's trying to bring Heaven into our lives. [00:27:00]And what we tend to do, and what the adversary helps us out with, is , there's room for Hell, uh, there too, and people will allow Hell to be a part of their life.

Don: They will struggle with depression, anxieties, worries, concerns, anger, bitterness, all these types of things that Hell produces, and not allow- that to be removed, and that's what Jesus came to do. He came to remove that portion of our life and put peace. The Bible talks about a peace that surpasses all understanding.

Don: You know, something that we can't even go to a doctor and imagine them touching. God can give that to you, and that's where when we get heaven brought into us, we get the part of heaven that Jesus came to open up for us, that our whole life changes. The way we see things, the way we handle things, we will be content with ourselves.

Don: And that's the beauty of things, too, is Jesus said He's gone to prepare a place for each and every one of us. So in heaven, He's got a place for all of [00:28:00] us. The only thing we have to do is get ourselves into a place where we trust the message. , we believe in the message, and we reach out to Him, realizing that there's nothing we can do.

Don: He has to do it all, but we just have to surrender. We just have to open up our lives and say, "Lord, take me. Allow me and open me up so that I can receive this heaven into my life and allow the beauty of it to flow."

Justin: Amen. Well, I think that wraps it up for today. This was a good one, Justin. I think so, too.

Justin: Hey, we're glad you guys found your way here today, and we hope you can join us again next week for another good word. Until then, stay blessed.

Don: By the best.

Justin: See you [00:29:00] guys.
